The Team

Lerato Montsi, a self-taught fashion designer, seamstress and fashion enthusiast with background in broadcast media, business administration, project management and fashion retail founded Ethnik Republik Ltd in 2015. Gender-neutral Afrocentric bespoke streetwear blurring the lines between menswear and womenswear clothing without sacrificing style. Drawing inspiration from local streetwear, using African inspired fabrics like the locally produced Shweshwe.
